Hire the right people, near the right job.
A hiring funnel for entry-level cleaning teams that answers applicants in minutes, keeps waiting candidates warm, and matches them to sites they will actually travel to.
An idea in progress from Dacos LLC- Apply
- Presort
- Prescreen
- Group interview
- Show up
- Offer or pool
Three things slow cleaning teams down
We tried this with Zoho and Odoo. The idea works. These problems kept getting in the way.
Waiting candidates drift away
Good people sit in a list with no news and lose interest before a job opens.
Short shifts, short commutes
Our side jobs are spread out, and workers will not travel far for a few hours of work.
Too much manual work
Calls, scheduling, reminders and no-shows eat up recruiter time.
One path from application to first shift
Candidates apply on Indeed, then get invited to a Dacos page that guides them the rest of the way.
- InviteLink sent right after they apply
- PresortWork eligibility and basic fit
- PrescreenShort call or chat
- Group interviewBook a slot, get reminders
- Show upCheck in and meet the team
- Offer or poolA job near them, or a place in the pool
Where it gets interesting
Two ideas carry the whole concept.
Location comes first
- Every site and every candidate has a place on the map.
- Candidates say how far they will go.
- Jobs are advertised only where we need people.
- Open shifts go first to the nearest ready candidates.
The pool stays warm
- Quick text confirmation within minutes of applying.
- A weekly "still available?" reply check.
- An alert when work opens near them.
- Clear opt-out and automatic expiry.
What the market offers today
AI hiring tools are moving from simple chatbots to agents that run whole workflows. We sorted the features into three levels.
Foundation
Mobile apply, screening questions, text and email, self-booking, reminders, basic reports.
Leading edge
24/7 chat assistant, talent pool with job-match scores, location-aware alerts, source tracking.
Cutting edge
Autonomous agents, AI voice interviews, no-show prediction, demand forecasting.
Start small
A first version covers the foundation plus the two ideas above, tested at one location.
In the first version
- Jobs page and Indeed invite link
- Two-way text messages with consent
- Prescreen and group interview booking
- Pool with simple check-in messages
Later
- AI chat assistant
- Automatic alerts for nearby openings
- Match scores and forecasting
What we still need to decide
The full plan has 38 open questions. These come first.
- How many hires per month, and at how many sites?
- What exactly went wrong in the earlier trials?
- What does "close enough" mean for our workers?
- How far should AI go in screening?
- Build on Odoo, buy a platform, or mix both?
- Could this become a product for other companies?
